Our Story

Hands for Hope Foundation grew out of a friendship among three families united by a deep connection to Chiapas, Mexico, and a shared love for its people. For some of us, Chiapas is home; for others, it has become a cherished part of our lives through lasting friendships and experiences in its communities. Together, we chose to turn that connection into a commitment: to work alongside local communities to expand opportunities in education, wellness, and economic development, helping build a future where more young people can thrive.

Our story builds on educational and community development initiatives that began in 2015 through Caring Hands Foundation. Those years of
involvement created meaningful relationships and a firsthand understanding of the barriers facing Indigenous communities. As that chapter comes to a close, Hands for Hope carries the work forward with gratitude for what has been built and a shared determination to help it grow.

As three families, we bring our personal commitment and experience in executive leadership, wellness, law, and nonprofit work to this mission. We believe lasting progress grows through trust, collaboration, and a willingness to stay involved for the long term. With your support, we can strengthen these community relationships and help young people access the opportunities they deserve.
